About ?Tag? you?re it!? This thread is the spiritual alarm system which communicates and takes prayerful action on the needs of the people through a prayer thread. These fervent, faithful individuals? are committed to prayer and take action on behalf of the congregation on Jesus? words to "ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened," (Matthew 7:7) in other words BOMBARD HEAVEN, NIGHT AND DAY, DAY AND NIGHT. The importance of the prayer tag is that it faithfully intercedes on behalf of others in need by lifting up specific requests, concerns and emergency situations.

How ?Tag?? thread works: This prayer group of individuals? receives prayer requests, and will pray immediately upon the receipt of the request. After the completion of their prayer; they will tag the next available person on the group list, and this will create a prayer thread that will continue 24/7 until the ending of prayer week. If the name listed next is not home and there is voice mail or an answering machine, do not leave the request due to confidentiality but ask them to call you for prayer thread information. There may be people on your thread without answering machines. In that instance, as best as possible, try and get back to them later that day with the requests. Continue calling until you make contact with someone who is available.

Must be available anytime within the two times indicated:

• 9-5 p.m. Prayer Thread -- For those who are available during the day time.
• After 5 p.m. Prayer Thread -- For those available during the evening hours.

Receiving Prayer request: It is important to be prepared to receive prayer requests if your phone number is one of those listed to be tagged. All that is needed is a paper and pen to record the request or thanksgiving as it is given to you. It is a good idea to read back what you have written for the sake of accuracy before you conclude the phone call. A prayer form will also be distributed to the prayer group via email for the ease of prayer: (See Sample Below)

Many people would like to be involved, however, prefer to not be contacted by phone. Therefore, you may opt to receive your tag request via e-mail; also a much quick and easy way.

How ?E-mail? tag works: An e-tag mailing list is gathered, and the written prayer request is sent to everyone on the list; via e-mail. That simple!

You must be able to Stop! (where you are), Drop! (everything you are doing), and Pray! It is important to establish the discipline of praying immediately upon receiving notification from the chain. If you are called while entertaining company, for instance, excuse yourself and go to the bathroom and pray. You do not need to sit down and close your eyes to pray. If you were just leaving to pick up your child from school, drive and pray - with your eyes open! Be creative and make a way to honor the discipline to pray immediately.

?Hour-Glass? Prayer Teams. Some that request prayer may opt. LME Ministries to contact them by phone. We need a team of sixteen people to make phone contacts within the Hour Glass Times. We believe with a team of sixteen a reasonable number of calls are four. Usually all calls should take place between 6:00pm- 8pm (CST); daily.

DISCLAIMER: Keep in mind that prayer requests are to be kept confidential. If you cannot honor that, please spare from damaging the integrity of LME Ministries and the hurts and misunderstanding that broken trust can cause by not serving. If you have not been honest in your dealings; simply step down before the team leader has to ask you to step down. Also, if your spouse is not part of the network, please do not share the information with him or her. Though you may think that you are sharing this information so that they can pray, it is still GOSSIP. "Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips," (Psalm 141:3). (SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY!!! Spectators not allowed?)

 So happy to be able to stop by and greet you on this evening; just I have been sooo busy with family, ministry and school... yes I am in school! Ha!
